What size should I order in a dress?
Order your usual Snag size. Our dresses are fitted on real bodies rather than scaled up or down from one sample, so there's no need to size up just in case. They're designed across sizes 4 to 38, engineered individually at every size, and our size guide can help if you're stuck between two.
Does this dress have pockets?
Yes, pockets are standard across almost the whole Snag dress range, including the Wrap Dress, Audrey Dress and Cocoon Knit styles. The one exception is our Lace Dress line, since the stretch fishnet lace fabric isn't built for a functional pocket. If pockets matter to you, that's really the only style worth double-checking before you buy.
What fabric are dresses made from, and are they stretchy?
Snag dresses are made to move with you, with around 12 inches of 3D stretch built in through the waist and hips. The fabric is strong and breathable rather than stiff or restrictive, so it holds its shape through a full day of wear. Check the individual product page for the exact fabric composition of each style, since this can vary dress from dress to dress.
What can I wear under a dress to stop it clinging or chafing?
If a dress is chafing or clinging between your thighs, Snag Chub Rub Shorts worn underneath will sort that out without adding bulk. They sit low and close under most dress lengths, so they stay hidden while stopping thighs rubbing together. It's a simple fix if that's ever put you off wearing a dress you otherwise love.
Can you machine wash a dress?
The best place to check is the wash label sewn into your dress, since care can vary a little between styles and fabrics. We'd rather point you to the exact instructions for your garment than give a generic answer that might not be quite right for every dress. If you can't find the label or have any doubts, our customer care team can help you look after it properly.
